Marrakech: An inDrive motorbike driver arrested after the death of a client

Hit-and-run A motorbike driver operating via the «inDrive» application was identified and then arrested in Casablanca, after fleeing following the fatal fall of a client in a state of advanced intoxication in Marrakech, according to a judicial source. The police investigation revealed that the driver had picked up this client in Marrakech from a bar to transport him to his home. On the way, the passenger, sitting at the back, fell off the motorbike. Instead of providing assistance, the driver sped off towards an unknown destination. The victim succumbed to his injuries. Alerted, the judicial police investigators in the Ochre City conducted their investigations by questioning several witnesses, including the bar manager, which led to the identification of the fugitive before his arrest in Casablanca.
