Event: The House of Poetry in Morocco is organising, on October 23 and 24 at the Mohammed V Theatre in Rabat, an academic session under the theme "Rabat in Moroccan and Arab poetry", with the participation of Moroccan researchers, academics, poets, and critics. Organised in partnership with the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication and in collaboration with the Mohammed V Theatre, this event is part of the "Rabat, World Book Capital 2026" programme, indicates a statement from the House of Poetry in Morocco. The programme for this session includes five sessions devoted to several themes, including "Poetry and space", "The city in poetry", and "The city of Rabat in Moroccan and Arab poetry", as well as two sessions during which Moroccan poets will share testimonies and readings about their relationship with the capital, the same source adds. Founded in 1996, the House of Poetry in Morocco is an independent non-profit cultural association. Its activities are focused on poetry as a creative human expression, with the aim of strengthening its presence in the various areas of life and consolidating its role as a means of human communication and dialogue between civilisations.
